OIG Budget

OIG's FY 2020 budget requests a total of $403.2 million to oversee HHS programs. With these resources, OIG is charged with overseeing nearly $1 trillion dollars in HHS spending, which represents approximately a quarter of every Federal dollar spent, covering programs ranging from health insurance to clinical research and epidemiology, public health services, and education.
