The District of Columbia Made Correct Medicaid Electronic Health Record Incentive Payments to Hospitals

During calendar year 2013, the District of Columbia Agency for Health Care Administration (the State Agency) paid $12.8 million for Medicaid electronic health record incentive payments to five hospitals and one health care professional. We reviewed more than $12.7 million that was paid to the five hospitals. The State agency made the electronic health record incentive payments to the five hospitals in accordance with Federal and State requirements.
