Review of Colorado Medicaid Payments for Home Health Agency Claims Paid to Professional Pediatric Home Care, Inc.

For our review of the 100 beneficiary-months in our sample, we determined that the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing claimed costs for home health agency services provided by Professional Pediatric Home Care, Inc., in accordance with Federal and State requirements. Specifically, Professional Pediatric Home Care, Inc., (1) maintained medical records supporting all services performed and (2) ensured that the services were performed as authorized in the physicians' signed plans of care.
