Medicare Compliance Review of Orlando Health for the Period January 1, 2011, Through June 30, 2012

Orlando Health (the Hospital), located in Florida, complied with Medicare billing requirements for 143 of the 218 inpatient claims we reviewed. However, the Hospital did not fully comply with Medicare billing requirements for the remaining 75 claims, resulting in overpayments of approximately $462,000. On the basis of our sample results, we estimated that the Hospital received more than $1.4 million in overpayments from Medicare.
