Christus Santa Rosa Hospital (the Hospital) (operating in Texas) did not fully comply with Medicare inpatient billing requirements for 70 of the 100 short-stay claims we reviewed. On the basis of on our sample results, we estimated that the Hospital received at least $1.3 million in overpayments from Medicare.
