Anthem Health Plans of New Hampshire, Inc. (Anthem New Hampshire), a Medicare contractor, did not claim $402,000 of allowable Medicare pension costs for Medicare reimbursement for fiscal years (FY) 2003 through 2005. Anthem New Hampshire did not claim these allowable Medicare pension costs primarily because it incorrectly calculated the Cost Accounting Standards pension costs for FYs 2003 through 2005.
