Oklahoma Made Incorrect Medicaid Electronic Health Record Incentive Payments to Health Care Professionals
The Oklahoma Health Care Authority (State agency) did not always pay Medicaid electronic health record incentive payments to professionals in accordance with Federal and State requirements. The State agency incorrectly paid $888,000 to 47 hospital-based professionals and claimed $127,000 more than it paid on its CMS-64 reports. Additionally, the National Level Repository data did not include a $21,000 incentive payment.
