Woodland Springs Agreed to Pay $188,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Services Provided by Unlicensed Individuals

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Woodland Springs, LLC (Woodland Springs), Conroe, Texas, agreed to pay $188,592.47 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that Woodland Springs submitted claims that included counseling services and psychological assessments provided by two unlicensed individuals. Single damages were calculated as the full salary and benefits paid to the individuals during the period they worked without a valid license.
