Tampa General Medical Group Agreed to Pay $33,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Incident-to Services Not Covered

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Tampa General Medical Group, Inc. (TGMG), Tampa, Florida, agreed to pay $33,000 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that TGMG submitted claims for services provided by three pharmacists that were billed as “incident to” but did not satisfy the “incident to” billing requirements.
