Tampa General Hospital Agreed to Pay $442,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Services Provided by an Unlicensed and Unqualified Individual

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Florida Health Sciences Center, Inc. d/b/a Tampa General Hospital (TGH), Florida, agreed to pay $442,713.81 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that TGH submitted claims for biofeedback therapy services preformed by an unlicensed and unqualified professional.
