After it self-disclosed to OIG, Susquehanna Township Emergency Medical Services, Inc. (STEMS), Harrisburg, agreed to pay $122,480.57 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged STEMS submitted claims for services provided by a former paramedic captain with falsified signatures on Assignment of Benefits forms.
