Summit Health Group Agreed to Pay $25,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Employing Two Individuals Excluded from New York Medicaid

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Summit Health Group, PA (SHG), New Jersey, agreed to pay $25,858.22 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that SHG employed two individuals that it knew or should have known were excluded from participation in the New York state Medicaid program and that no New York state Medicaid program payments could be made for items or services the individuals furnished.
