St. Vincent Hospital and MetroWest Medical Center Agreed to Pay $41,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Contracting with an Excluded Individual

After they self-disclosed conduct to OIG, St. Vincent Hospital (SVH) and MetroWest Medical Center (MetroWest), Massachusetts, agreed to pay $41,495.36 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that SVH and MetroWest, through a contractor, employed an individual that they knew or should have known was excluded from participation in Federal health care programs.
