Providence Portland Medical Center and Providence Office Park Agreed to Pay $217,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Employing an Excluded Individual

After they self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Providence Health & Services-Oregon, Providence Portland Medical Center (PPMC) and Providence Office Park (POP), Oregon, agreed to pay $217,732.53 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that PPMC and POP employed an individual that they knew or should have known was excluded from participation in Federal health care programs.
