After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Region XII Commission on Mental Health and Retardation d/b/a Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources (Pine Belt), Mississippi, agreed to pay $43,030.09 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that Pine Belt employed two individuals that it knew or should have known were excluded from participation in Federal health care programs.
