Our Community Pharmacy and Candida Webb Agreed to Pay $100,000 and Be Excluded for 5 Years for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Paying Remuneration to Beneficiaries

On September 19, 2025, Our Community Pharmacy (OCP) and Candida Webb (Webb), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, entered into a settlement agreement with OIG in which they agreed to pay $100,000 and be excluded from participation in all Federal health care programs for 5 years. The settlement agreement resolves allegations that OCP and Webb paid remuneration to a customer in the form of cash on two separate occasions to induce the customer to purchase drugs payable by Medicare from OCP. OIG’s Office of Investigations and Office of Counsel to the Inspector General collaborated to achieve this resolution.
