After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, PointCore, Inc. d/b/a OSF Home Medical Equipment (OSF Home), Illinois, agreed to pay $137,879.15 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that OSF Home falsified patient medical records to support claims for refills of positive airway pressure supplies and submitted those claims for reimbursement to Medicare.
