Optimus Health Care Agreed to Pay $353,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Retaining Overpayments

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Optimus Health Care, Inc. (Optimus), Connecticut, agreed to pay $353,486.81 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that Optimus identified overpayments and did not report or return the overpayments in accordance with CMS guidance.
