National Providers in Healthcare and Medstream Anesthesia Hawaii Agreed to Pay $254,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Services that Failed to Meet Coverage Criteria
After they self-disclosed conduct to OIG, National Partners in Healthcare, LLC (NPH), Richard, Texas, and Medstream Anesthesia Hawaii, PLLC, (Medstream), Dallas, Texas, agreed to pay $254,203.55 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that NPH and Medstream submitted claims for certain time-based anesthesia services when no provider was present as was required to bill such claims.
