MedPro EMS Agreed to Pay $266,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Services Provided by an Unlicensed Individual

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, PWT Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a MedPro EMS (MedPro EMS), Georgia, agreed to pay $266,722.89 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that MedPro EMS submitted claims for ambulance transportation that included services provided by an unlicensed emergency medical technician.
