After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Lourdes Hospital, LLC (Lourdes Hospital), Washington, agreed to pay $85,726.38 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that Lourdes Hospital submitted claims for services provided an unlicensed speech therapist. Single damages were calculated as the full salary and benefits paid to the speech therapist during the period they worked without a valid license.
