Iroquois Home Care and Iroquois Memorial Hospital and Resident Home Agreed to Pay $75,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Items and Services Not Provided

After they self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Iroquois Home Care, Inc. (IHC) and The Iroquois Memorial Hospital and Resident Home (IMH), Illinois, agreed to pay $75,000 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that IHC and IMH submitted false claims to Federal health care programs for durable medical equipment items and services purportedly provided by a former employee where the items and services were not provided or not provided as claimed.
