Hernando-Pasco Hospice and Good Shepherd Hospice Agreed to Pay $201,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Services by Unlicensed Nurses
After they self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Inc. (HPH) and Good Shepherd Hospice, Inc. (GSH), Florida, agreed to pay $201,960.89 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that HPH and GSH submitted claims to Federal health care programs for services provided by three nurses whose licenses expired and who continued to practice without active licenses.
