Florida Man Pleads Guilty To Conspiring To Defraud Medicare Of $39.5 Million
CONCORD – A Florida man pleaded guilty today in federal court in Concord for his role in a conspiracy to defraud Medicare of $39.5 million, U.S. Attorney Jane E. Young announces. Christopher Spellman, 22, of Port Richey, Florida, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit health care fraud. U.S. District Court Judge Samantha Elliott scheduled sentencing for November 21, 2024. Spellman was charged on July 17, 2024.
