Florence Wellness and JBH Holdings Agreed to Pay $240,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting False Claims Related to Remote Patient Monitoring Services
After they self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Florence Wellness P.C. and JBH Holdings f/k/a Florence Inc. (collectively, “Florence”), California, agreed to pay $240,000 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that Florence billed the Medicare program for remote patient monitoring services without having obtained at least 16 days of biometric readings within a 30-day period as required by Medicare.
