David Fuderich, DMD Agreed to Pay $50,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims After He Was Excluded

On February 18, 2021, David Fuderich, DMD, Cumberland, Maryland, entered into a $50,000 settlement agreement with OIG. The settlement agreement resolves allegations that Dr. Fuderich knowingly presented or caused to be presented to Maryland Medicaid claims for dentistry services furnished during a period in which he was excluded from participation in all Federal health care programs. OIG's Office of Investigations and Office of Counsel to the Inspector General, represented by Senior Counsels Katie Fink and Jennifer Leonardis, collaborated to achieve this settlement.
