Comprehensive Pain Medicine and Sheridan Healthcorp Agreed to Pay $284,000 Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting False Claims for Evaluation and Management Services and Injections
After they self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Comprehensive Pain Medicine, Inc. and Sheridan Healthcorp, Inc. (collectively, “CPM and Sheridan”), Florida, agreed to pay $284,724 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that CMP and Sheridan submitted false claims for services provided by a physician for evaluation and management services, level two injections, and level three injections.
