Central Home Health Care Agreed to Pay $29,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Services Provided by an Unlicensed Individual

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Amedisys Georgia, LLC d/b/a Central Home Health Care (CHHC), Georgia, agreed to pay $29,236.86 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that CHHC submitted claims to Medicare for services provided by an unlicensed nurse.
