CareLink Home Health Agreed to Pay $35,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Employing an Excluded Individual

On June 10, 2025, CareLink Home Health, LLC (CareLink), Schaumburg, Illinois, entered into a $35,597.37 settlement agreement with OIG. The settlement agreement resolves allegations that CareLink employed an individual who was excluded from participating in any Federal health care program. OIG alleged that the excluded individual, who worked as a nurse and case manager, provided items or services that were billed to Federal health care programs.
