Brentwood Springs Agreed to Pay $54,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Services Provided by an Unlicensed Individual

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Brentwood Meadows, LLC d/b/a Brentwood Springs (Brentwood), Newburgh, Indiana, agreed to pay $54,396.90 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that Brentwood submitted claims for services provided by an unlicensed therapist. Single damages were calculated as the full salary and benefits paid to the therapist during the period they worked without a valid license.
