Boyer Family Practice and Medical Spa Agreed to Pay $272,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Services that Were Not Performed or Failed to Meet Coverage Criteria

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Micah Boyer MD, PLLC d/b/a Boyer Family Practice and Medical Spa (Boyer), Wichita Falls, Texas, agreed to pay $272,189.04 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that Boyer submitted claims for nursing services which were not performed or otherwise did not meet coverage criteria.
