Blick Center Agreed to Pay $165,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Psychotherapy Services that Were Not Provided as Billed

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Blick Clinic Inc., d/b/a Blick Center (Blick Center), Akron, Ohio, agreed to pay $165,532.37 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that Blick Center billed Federal health care programs for psychotherapy services by an employed licensed clinical social worker that were not provided as billed.
