Arisa Health and Mid-South Health Systems Agreed to Pay $25,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Employing an Excluded Individual
After they self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Arisa Health, Inc. and its affiliate Northeast Arkansas Community Mental Health Center, Inc. d/b/a Mid-South Health Systems (collectively, “Arisa”), Arkansas, agreed to pay $25,807.01 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that Arisa employed an individual that it knew or should have known was excluded from participation in Federal health care programs.
