After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Encore Home Health, LLC d/b/a Aleca Home Health (AHH), Washington, agreed to pay $94,574.07 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that AHH submitted claims that included services provided by three unlicensed individuals. Single damages were calculated as the full salary and benefits paid to the nurses during the period they worked without a valid license.
