Attorney General Murrill's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit secured a guilty plea for an Alexandria man for Simple Battery of Persons with Infirmities. On January 14, 2026, Marcus Sanders, of Rampart Street in Alexandria, pled guilty as charged in the 9th JDC to one count of Simple Battery of Persons with Infirmities, a violation of La. R.S. 14:35.2.
