On March 31, 2026, Mylanta Denise Cephus was arrested without incident in East Baton Rouge Parish for:
- 1 Count: La RS 14:133 – Filing or Maintaining False Public Records (Felony)
- 3 Counts: La RS 14:70.1 – Medicaid Fraud (Felony)
