Information Request: Medicare Advantage Organizations’ Encounter Data (OEI-03-25-00420 and OEI-03-25-00440)

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG) is conducting two evaluations (OEI-03-25-00420 and OEI-03-25-00440) examining Medicare Advantage Organizations’ (MAOs’) encounter data. As part of these evaluations, HHS-OIG is emailing MAOs with instructions to access and complete an information request. MAOs’ responses to this information request are important and will help HHS-OIG better understand requirements and practices related to collection of 340B modifiers and rendering provider identifiers in Medicare Advantage.
