Investigation Details

David Lawrence Adams owes over $4.2 million in child support, which began in 1994. His monthly obligation was $2,500 for his two children, whose custodial parent resided in New York. At the time of the indictment, Adams lived in Florida and worked as a cardiologist. Investigators believe he fled to Israel to avoid his child support obligation. Investigators also believe that he may visit Florida periodically to continue his medical practice. A warrant for his arrest was issued in August, 2008. He remains a fugitive at-large.
