Walgreen Co Agreed to Pay $37,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Employing an Excluded Individual

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG pursuant to its CIA, Walgreen Co., Deerfield, Illinois, entered into a $37,378.51 settlement agreement with OIG. The settlement agreement resolves allegations that Walgreen Co employed an individual that it knew or should have known was excluded from participation in Federal health care programs.
