Wabash General Hospital Agreed to Pay $166,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Services that Were Not Performed or Failed to Meet Coverage Criteria

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Wabash General Hospital (WGH), Illinois, entered into a $166,761.01 settlement agreement with OIG. The settlement agreement resolves allegations that WGH submitted claims for Chronic Care Management Services which were not performed or otherwise did not meet coverage criteria.
