Trevose Ambulatory Surgery Care Agreed to Pay $88,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Paying Remuneration in the Form of Free or Below Fair Market Value Leased Space

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Trevose Ambulatory Surgery Care (Trevose ASC), Pennsylvania, agreed to pay $88,328.58 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law provisions applicable to kickbacks. OIG alleged that Trevose ASC paid remuneration to a professional corporation in the form of leased space that was free or below fair market value.
