After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Ambulance Management Services LTD d/b/a Trans-Care Ambulance (Trans-Care), Indiana, agreed to pay $239,377.04 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that Trans-Care submitted claims for emergency medical technician services provided by an individual when she did not have a valid license to perform services as an emergency medical technician.
