Town of Norwood Fire Department Agreed to Pay $77,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Submitting Claims for Services Provided by Unlicensed Individuals

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Town of Norwood Fire Department (TNFD), Norwood, Massachusetts, entered into a $77,566.28 settlement agreement with OIG. The settlement agreement resolves allegations that TNFD submitted claims to Federal health care programs for services furnished by two unlicensed paramedics.
