After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, The Maui Medical Group, Inc. (MMG), Hawaii, agreed to pay $240,471 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that MMG submitted claims for evaluation and management services provided by a physician that were not supported by the medical record.
