Texas Hospice Provider Settles False and Fraudulent Medicare Claims Case
On August 17, 2016, Community Hospice of Texas (CHT), Texas, entered into a $34,986.68 settlement agreement with OIG. The settlement agreement resolves allegations that CHT submitted claims for hospice services at the general inpatient level of care when it knew or should have known that routine care should have been billed.
