After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Sunwest Behavioral Health Associates, P.A. (Sunwest), Texas, agreed to pay $17,255.25 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that Sunwest employed a case manager who submitted claims to Texas Medicaid for services they had not provided such as case management, skills training, and medication therapy.
