Suburban Hospital Agreed to Pay $28,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Employing an Excluded Individual

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Suburban Hospital (Suburban), Bethesda, Maryland, entered into a $28,645.22 settlement agreement with OIG. The settlement agreement resolves allegations that Suburban employed an individual that it knew or should have known was excluded from participation in Federal health care programs.
