Save the Children Federation Agreed to Pay $4,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law for Submitting Unsupported Claims to an ACF Grant

After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Save the Children Federation, Inc. (SCF), Mississippi, agreed to pay $4,146 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that SCF created records for mileage reimbursements that lacked required supporting documentation that were material to claims made to a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families grant.
