On March 13, 2024, Ross Nochimson, D.O. (Dr. Nochimson), Verona, New Jersey, entered into a $305,430 settlement agreement with OIG.  The settlement agreement resolves allegations that Dr. Nochimson solicited and received improper remuneration, in the form of monetary payments related to purported telemedicine consultations, from various telemedicine and staffing companies in exchange for ordering and prescribing medically unnecessary durable medical equipment, genetic testing, and prescription medications for Medicare beneficiaries with whom he had no physician-patient relationship and who he never examined. Senior Counsels Katie Fink and Jonathan Culpepper represented OIG.
