After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Redstone Presbyterian SeniorCare (Redstone), Pennsylvania, agreed to pay $25,878.91 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that Redstone presented claims to Medicare for services performed by a physical therapy assistant without direct supervision as required by the Pennsylvania State Practice Act for Physical Therapy and by the Medicare program.
